A Night to Remember with RAYE, Tyla, Montell Fish and More

This summer — over two weekends during 15–24 August 2025 — All Points East returned to Victoria Park in East London, delivering one of the most talked-about festival lineups of the year. On Saturday 23 August, the festival delivered a female led headliner and genre diverse bill by the upcoming RAYE to Tyla to JADE and a host of rising stars.

The Line Up

  • The headline act for the night was RAYE, marking one of her biggest performances in London to date.

  • Before her was Tyla, making a special UK festival appearance — the show carried both pop and Afrobeats energy.

  • On the same bill: Montell Fish, bringing a soulful, guitar heavy vibe on the West Stage — a contrast to the pop driven main stage.

  • Other standout names on the day included JADE, NAO, Cat Burns, Mackenzy Mackay, and a bunch of new rising talents such as Alemeda, Sienna Spiro, Chloe Qisha, Nia Smith, and more.

  • After a late stage reshuffle, FKA twigs stepped in to replace the highly anticipated doechii, adding her own unique blend of performance art and music to the festival's West Stage.

RAYE's Headline: A Show That Lived Up to the Hype

Around 50,000 fans gathered for RAYE's headline slot — and the atmosphere was electric.

Her set was theatrical and soulful. Backed by a choir section, called the Flames Collective choir and a full supporting band, she delivered a performance full of drama and raw emotion.

Dressed glamorously with her retro styling and bouncy curls, she moved through a mix of her pop soul material, jazz songs and a powerful cover of It's a Man's Man's Man's World — hitting the greatest highnotes that could probably be heard through the entire of East London.

As the show reached its climax, RAYE closed with her top hit Escapism, capturing the last bit of crowd energy.

She told the crowd: "This kind of moment a little girl dreams of." It felt like a full-circle achievement.

From Soul to Afrobeats to Neo soul

One major strength of All Points East 2025 was how wide the musical offering was:

  • Tyla brought Afrobeats and dance-pop energy, giving the night a celebratory, dance-hall vibe.

  • Montell Fish took the West Stage with neo-soul, guitar-driven tracks and a different pace altogether — offering a more mellow, introspective contrast to the pop-heavy main stage atmosphere.

  • Meanwhile, the rest of the lineup offered everything from alt-pop (JADE, Chloe Qisha, Sienna Spiro), neo-soul (NAO, Cat Burns), to club-ready dance vibes (Eliza Rose) — giving attendees plenty of variety across stages and moods.

The result was a festival night that felt inclusive, energetic and celebratory — capturing many different shades of contemporary music under one sky.

Why All Points East 2025 Will Be Remembered

  • It delivered what some are calling "the biggest female led festival lineup" in London this summer — bold, inclusive and genre-spanning.

  • The headlining set from RAYE didn't just meet expectations — she exceeded them: emotional, theatrical, powerful. According to one review, it made her a leading light in British pop jazz music.

  • The diversity of acts and styles — from Afrobeat to neo-soul, pop to alt, big band to bedroom-pop — made it a festival for all tastes, and a strong snapshot of 2025's music landscape in the UK.

  • For Londoners and festival-goers, it was more than a concert — it was a cultural moment. In a year packed with big tours and comebacks, All Points East 2025 stood out for intent, curation, and heart.
