Missed the rage - Live at 229 London

On April 17, 2025, London's 229 venue pulsed with magical energy as DJ EJ headlined the Missed The Rage: I Am Music Edition, an event marking the very first UK listening party for Playboi Carti's highly anticipated album, I Am Music. Presented by Counterfeit LDN, the night drew in a passionate, loud crowd ready to rage to the best sounds in the rage scene.

DJ EJ, alongside Trucker, delivered an amazing DJ set that kept the audience in a nonstop state of motion. Their selections were on top and did not miss a single hit, spinning bangers from Playboi Carti, XXXTentacion, Lil Uzi Vert, Ski Mask The Slump God, Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Yeat. The duo behind the decks was electric, their transitions sharp, and their energy infectious—feeding off the crowd and giving it right back.

But the night didn't stop at the decks. DJ EJ surprised the crowd with three special guest appearances that took the energy to another level. Young Eman, Cie, and Scenes of Len each brought their own hype to the stage, with every appearance it got louder and larger mosh pits appeared. It was one of those nights where the energy never dipped—it only escalated.

If you've never been to a DJ EJ event, I highly recommend going. This was hands down one of the best events I've ever experienced—highly organized, affordable, and executed with top-tier energy and professionalism from start to finish. With this being my first DJ EJ event, I can say with full confidence, it won't be my last. I'll definitely be attending again.
